Requirements:
• 5 years of experience as a DBA, with a focus on cloud migration and database administration.
• 5 years of experience with database design and development.
• 5 years of experience of Oracle, Oracle Spatial, RDS, and PostgreSQL.
• 2 years of experience with cloud migration, including data transfer and synchronization.
• 1 year experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Duties:
• Migration of Cellar store (the semantic repository of Publications Office) from AWS
• Cloud to another Cloud provider involving migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
• Migrate existing cloud-based Oracle databases (RDS) to PostgreSQL cloud-based databases (setting, data, procedures).
• Removal of Oracle Spatial.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance of cloud-based databases during and after the migration.
• Provide technical expertise and support for database-related issues.
• Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with other teams and involvement in other IT systems of the OP and the Data Migration leader to ensure database design meets application requirements.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing.
